A week with my family in Japan went by so fast. And now, here I am, back home, and although it feels good to be back in my room with all my familiar things, I wish I was in Japan with my family longer. So may good memories, especially at the Tokyo Disney Resort!
Last time I wrote, I wrote about Tokyo Disneyland. Well, the next two days were spent at Tokyo DisneySea!
It was UH-MAZING. I had never seen anything like it. I walked in and I felt like I was in Venice. The buildings appeared fashionably old, and there were canals where you can ride a gondola, which is energized by two Japanese men rowing and singing for you.
There's also a hotel in the park. Yes, a hotel IN the park. And it can hold up to 30 weddings a WEEK! It's crazy.
And the lights at night were fantastic. So romantic.
Mysterious Island: (Looks like an Advil, right?!)
All the rides are different except for Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror, which I am afraid of. However, after lots of crying and groveling on my sister's part, I went on it with my sister and my mom, and it was terrifying, but I'm glad I did it. Can you spot me? ;)
But I think one of my favorite things about DisneySea was the fact that they had a mock up of Broadway there. They had a Broadway theatre and a show inside. I wish I could've taken pictures, but obviously it's looked down upon.
The days we went, it rained a lot. It was windy and cold and I got sick from it, but had to go back the second day. I won't be back for a while, so I had to experience it while I could.
If you wanna learn more, just watch this Travel Channel special on it :)
Put this place on your bucket list! It's worth it :)
I miss my family, especially my little sister, but I don't regret anything I did. I'm so happy we didn't fight and that I conquered my fear for her. We spent every second together, and it was the best week ever. Life is good :)
